Vacuum Insulated Panels

Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIPs) are ultra-high-performance insulation materials designed to deliver exceptional thermal efficiency in extremely thin profiles. They consist of a microporous core (typically fumed silica) encased in a gas-tight, multi-layer barrier film, with the internal air evacuated to create a vacuum—drastically reducing heat transfer.

Due to the absence of air, VIPs eliminate convection and significantly limit conduction and radiation, achieving thermal conductivity as low as 0.003–0.005 W/m·K, making them up to 5–10 times more efficient than conventional insulation materials.

VIPs are ideal for applications where space is limited and thermal performance is critical, such as cold chain logistics, refrigeration, pharmaceuticals, building envelopes, and energy storage systems.
