What is Wedge FSMP Microporous Insulation?
Wedge FSMP is a next-generation microporous insulation system manufactured using:
- High-quality fumed silica
- Opacified pyrogenic silica blends
- Reinforced with high-temperature resistant fabrics
These materials create ultra-fine pores (<0.1 micron), which significantly reduce heat transfer mechanisms like conduction, convection, and radiation.
👉 Result: Thermal conductivity lower than still air at high temperatures
