Overview
Rigid muscovite micanite plate — mica paper laminated under heat and pressure with epoxy binder — supplied in 0.5–80 mm thickness for electrical machine and appliance insulation. Worked mica is where unit realisations run 5–20× above raw mica, and the USA, UAE and Saudi Arabia are the lead buyers of Indian worked mica (HS 6814). Manufactured to the IEC 60371 family of specifications for mica-based insulating materials.
Supplied by Wedge Industries Limited with manufacturing and processing bases in India, UK, Spain and China, exporting to 45+ countries.
