Spray foam insulation is a closed-cell spray polyurethane foam system supplied by Wedge Industries Limited for demanding thermal, energy-efficiency and building-envelope requirements. Open-Cell or Closed-Cell?
Closed-cell foam is the specification for almost every industrial and cold-chain application: it delivers roughly twice the R-value per millimetre, resists moisture ingress, and adds structural rigidity. Open-cell foam is lighter, cheaper and more vapour-open, which suits internal acoustic and residential cavity work but not roofs, cold rooms or anything exposed to moisture. What is the R-value of spray foam insulation?

What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?

How thick can spray foam be applied in one pass?
