Choosing the phase-change temperature
- −21°C — frozen and deep-frozen payloads
- 0°C / +5°C — 2–8°C pharma and fresh food
- +22°C — controlled room temperature (15–25°C)

PCM must be conditioned to the correct state before packout. Conditioning time and pack count depend on box, payload and lane duration — both are supplied with every Wedge system.
