A removable jacket solves that: it is cut and stitched to the fitting, comes off in minutes for inspection and goes straight back on. Wedge Industries Limited makes jackets to drawing with a mineral-wool, ceramic-fibre or aerogel core and a silicone- or PTFE-coated glass-cloth outer.
