PUF or PIR — which should I use for a cold store?
PIR has better fire performance and the same thermal value; PUF is the economical choice for ambient warehouses and partitions. Cold stores are usually 100–150 mm PUF/PIR walls and roof.
What thickness of panel do I need for a −20°C room?
150 mm is usual for frozen rooms, 100 mm for chilled and 60–80 mm for ambient/insulated warehouses; Wedge confirms thickness from the refrigeration load calculation.
Do you supply cold-room doors and floors with the panels?
