Aerogel is specified for one reason: thickness. A typical industrial dryer or oven running at 150°C process temperature reaches a skin temperature below 40°C with 20 mm of WedGel WAG400, where mineral wool would need two to three times the thickness and would not fit in the guard space.

Aerogel insulation price in Delhi NCR

Blanket is wrapped and banded or pinned like mineral wool, with the same cladding; cut with a knife, no special tools. Aerogel dust is inert but a mask and gloves are recommended during cutting. Die-cut pads and laminated composite panels are made to drawing at Faridabad.

Frequently asked questions
How much thinner is aerogel than mineral wool?
In the same duty, roughly 10 mm of aerogel replaces 40–50 mm of conventional insulation. On an oven at 150°C process temperature, 20 mm of WedGel WAG400 brings the skin below 40°C.
Is aerogel stocked in Delhi NCR?
Yes. WedGel rolls and sheets are stocked at the Faridabad works; samples and pilot quantities are usually available within 24 hours across NCR.
Which WedGel grade do I need?
WAG400 for service to 400°C, WedGel 650 above that, and WedGel 125A/125LD for chilled and cryogenic lines. Send the operating temperature and Wedge specifies.
Is aerogel blanket waterproof?
The blanket is hydrophobic and sheds water, which keeps its insulation value outdoors and in humid plants; it still needs normal cladding on exposed lines.
